Linux installation

For Linux users, be sure to run ‘Archivists_Toolkit_2.0” in the AT install directory. The scripts found in the bin directory are solely for testing purposes and are no longer used to run the AT program.

Installing on Ubuntu

I'm not sure how to download and run the AT. I downloaded installArchivistsToolkit2_0u5.bin to my desktop, then moved the icon to my home folder. When I try to open it, I get the message: There is no application installed for this file type.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Wendy

p.s. Nevermind, sorry to post precipitously; I found my answer from last year on the atug archives--use the KDE desktop instead of GNOME.
