The Rockefeller Archive Center is pleased to announce the community release of ATReference, an extension of the source core code of the Archivists’ Toolkit™ that supports the management of reference related activities in an archival setting, including registering patrons, recording visits and topics of research, and tracking researcher statistics and research products.

AT Version 2.0 Update 8 - Maintenance Release

Archivists’ Toolkit Version 2.0 Update 8 has been released and is available at http://archiviststoolkit.org/download/release/2_0.
Installing this release does not require upgrading of AT databases currently set to version 2.0.

We recommend that all users upgrade to AT 2.0.8.

This maintenance release fixes the following reported bugs:

ART-2316 (Won't allow me to save record despite required fields being filled in; https://jira.nyu.edu:8443/jira/browse/ART-2316)

ART-2304 (Froze; https://jira.nyu.edu:8443/jira/browse/ART-2304; which is related to ART-2316)

Archivists Toolkit 2.0 Update 3 - Maintenance Release

Archivists’ Toolkit Version 2.0 Update 3 has been released and is now available at http://archiviststoolkit.org/download/release/2_0. Installing this release does not require upgrading of AT databases currently set to version 2.0.

This release is a maintenance release which fixes the following reported bugs:

1) Inability to do batch deletion of location records (ART-2060; https://jira.nyu.edu:8443/jira/browse/ART-2060)

2) Search results not limited to repository logon credentials (ART-2045; https://jira.nyu.edu:8443/jira/browse/ART-2045)

Conclusion of Archivists' Toolkit Project, Phase Two

With the release of Archivists’ Toolkit version 2.0, Phase Two of the Archivists’ Toolkit project has concluded and the project team has disbanded.

I would like to express my gratitude to all of the following for their support, guidance, and contributions during this phase of development:

Archivists' Toolkit Version 2.0

The AT Project Team is very pleased to announce the public release of version 2.0 of the Archivists’ Toolkit (AT), an open source collection management / metadata authority application funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This release includes new features and supersedes version 1.5.9 released this past May.

New features added to AT 2.0 include:
• Revised Digital Object module, so that Digital Object records can be created and managed independent of Resource records.
• Tab-delimited Digital Object import
• Batch export of Digital Objects
• Assessment module

The Archivists' Toolkit Roundtable of the Society of American Archivists will hold its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, Aug 12th, 1-3pm, at the SAA Annual Conference in Austin, Texas.

Established in February 2009, the Archivists’ Toolkit Roundtable (ATRT) provides a forum for archivists from all types of repositories to identify and discuss key issues relevant to the Archivists' Toolkit (AT) software tool.
